DUSTY MILLER Primrose Primula magellanica

Dusty Millers may grow to up to 17 cm high, each head being made up of numerous clusters of four- petalled, white, primrose flowers with a yellow centre. The stem and leaves are greeny grey due to a fine covering of white hairs. Flowers October to December. Likely to be found on dwarf shrub and sandy dry heathland.

Found on East and West Falklands, also on neighbouring Fuegia and Andean Patagonia to 41°S.
